Support Us
The John William Pope Center for Higher Education Policy intends to reform higher education in North Carolina and the nation, but we need your help. The center is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization supported entirely by voluntary contributions. We do not accept government funds.
The Pope Center will automatically send the following items to contributors:
$25—Invitations to all the Pope Center's events, including luncheons and our yearly higher education conference.
$50—The above plus the Pope Center's weekly e-letter, the Clarion Call.
$100—The above plus the Pope Center's Inquiry Papers, which explore higher education topics, especially in North Carolina. Past research papers have explored issues such as faculty compensation, university governance, speech codes, and academic content.
Tax Deductibility Statement:
The Pope Center is a 501(c)(3) public charity tax-exempt educational foundation, IRS Identification #16-1686283. Your entire contribution
is tax deductible to the extent allowed under the law for contributions to a public charity. Depending on the level of support, you will receive, without
requesting, certain Pope Center publications. As the publications of the Pope Center are available to the general public on an equal basis upon request,
the receipt of the publications does not have a value for tax purposes that reduces the deductible amount of your contribution. To ensure compliance with
IRS regulations, the Pope Center recommends you consult with a tax professional if you have any questions about this, or any other tax issues.
